Vintage Women's 13" Double-Woven Black Gloves

I adore those elegant days when all the “smartest” (in the fashion sense) women wore gloves!

Though I have several pair, these are different. Clearly, they’re meant for more formal occasions.

Measurements:
13” x 5” (at widest point)
Markings:
Yes, but I can’t read all of it.
“Double Woven…” then more.

I found what appears to be an identical pair and they’re described as: 100% COTTON, Size 6, 13” LONG By 5", HAND SEWN IN PHILIPPINES.

Those these are a bit small for me (I’d probably wear a 7 or 7-1/2) so the sizing above of 6 is pretty close, I’d think. They rise to a position about 2” below the elbow.

Easy care, too! I use a lint brush to make them SHINE!
