ANTIQUE Baby Clothes Lot - For Charity

This lot includes over 3 pounds of mostly what appear to be handmade baby clothes. These are ones that would have been used prior to 1940, potentially 1920s or earlier. The lot includes white blouses, wool shirts/sweater, wool socks, knitted stockings, two Christening gowns (one has stains along the bottom, shown in the photos, as well as some smaller stains of the same type around the dress; the other has a rip at the top bodice part), a baby blanket, and some other baby accessories like bibs and burp cloths.

DAMAGE: The wool items are very old and didn't hold up well in storage. Some of them are pristine while others have many holes in them, especially the socks. The white items are almost all pristine and may not have been worn, but as stated above, the Christening gowns do have a tear in the bodice and stains.

All funds from this sale, minus Mercari fees and taxes, go directly to the Lancaster Historical Society in Lancaster, New York. Smoke free, dog friendly home
